The Libertines - Up The Bracket

The Libertines were a popular English punk revival band that formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2004. The band only released two full-length LPs, both produced by Mick Jones of The Clash. Centered around the song-writing partnership and chemistry between Pete Doherty (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Carl Barât (vocals/lead guitar), while backed by John Hassall (bass) and Gary Powell (drums), the band were one of the cornerstones of the English indie scene in the early 2000’s

Too bad they disbanded, however now we have 'babyshambles' and 'dirty pretty things' to listen to aswell! The Libertines is them both combined the lyrics and rhythms are genius!
